GrowMyStars is a software service operated by Hunka LLC (“Hunka,” “GrowMyStars,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect information when you visit growmystars.com, use the GrowMyStars service, connect third-party services or communicate with us.
GrowMyStars is designed primarily for businesses and their authorized representatives in the United States.
1. Information We Collect
Account and contact information
When you request access, contact us or create an account, we may collect information such as your name, business name, email address, telephone number, job role and other information you choose to provide.
If you use Google Sign-In, we may receive basic Google account information that you authorize Google to provide, such as your name, email address and account identifier.
Google Business Profile information
When you authorize GrowMyStars to access Google Business Profile, we may access information necessary to provide the features you request, including:
- business accounts and authorized locations;
- location identifiers and location details;
- reviews associated with authorized locations;
- review reply information;
- information necessary to create, retrieve, manage or publish approved Google Business Profile content and supported media; and
- authorization credentials or tokens necessary to maintain the connection.
GrowMyStars uses this information to provide visible product functionality requested by the authorized business, including displaying reviews, preparing review-response drafts, publishing approved replies and supporting Google Business Profile content-management workflows.
Integration and workflow data
When GrowMyStars is connected with Zapier, Housecall Pro, spreadsheets, CRMs, field-service platforms or other third-party systems, we may receive information made available through those integrations.
Depending on the workflow configured by the business, this can include customer contact information, transaction or service-event information, job status, location information, internal identifiers or other data necessary to trigger or operate a review workflow.
Businesses are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate authority to provide information to GrowMyStars and to initiate communications to their customers.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS information
We may collect a mobile phone number when a business owner, prospective customer or authorized user provides one to us.
Providing a phone number does not by itself enroll a person in SMS messaging.
Where SMS consent is requested, consent is collected separately through an affirmative opt-in mechanism.
We may maintain records relating to SMS consent, including the phone number, date and time of consent, source of consent and the version of the consent language presented.
Billing information
If paid subscriptions are enabled, payment transactions may be processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment processor.
GrowMyStars does not need to store your complete payment-card number when payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own privacy practices.
Usage and technical information
We may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps, application events, error information, security logs and interaction with GrowMyStars features.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- provide and operate GrowMyStars;
- authenticate users and maintain accounts;
- connect authorized Google Business Profile accounts and locations;
- retrieve and display Google Business Profile reviews;
- prepare AI-assisted review-response drafts;
- publish review replies after the appropriate business authorization or approval;
- prepare, manage and publish supported Google Business Profile content when enabled;
- operate review-request and feedback workflows;
- send service notifications and alerts;
- respond to demo, early-access, support or other requests;
- process subscriptions and payments;
- provide integrations requested by customers;
- maintain security and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access;
- troubleshoot and improve product reliability;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- enforce our agreements.
We do not use Google user data or mobile opt-in information for unrelated advertising purposes.
3. Review Collection and Customer Feedback
GrowMyStars is designed to support non-gating review collection.
When GrowMyStars provides a public review option in a customer review flow, the business should not use GrowMyStars to hide that public review option based on the customer's sentiment or rating.
A private feedback option may also be available so customers can communicate directly with the business. Private feedback is an additional option and is not intended to prevent customers from leaving public reviews.
4. Google API Data
GrowMyStars' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
GrowMyStars accesses Google information only when a user authorizes the relevant connection and only to provide or improve user-facing GrowMyStars functionality associated with that authorization.
Depending on enabled features, this may include access to basic Google account information, authorized Google Business Profile accounts, business locations and location details, reviews, replies, posts, supported media and authorization information necessary to maintain the connection.
GrowMyStars uses this information to provide functionality such as displaying reviews, generating suggested review responses, publishing approved review replies and managing authorized Google Business Profile content.
We do not sell Google user data.
We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising.
We do not transfer Google user data except as necessary to provide or improve requested user-facing functionality, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or as otherwise permitted by Google's applicable policies and with any required user consent.
Users may disconnect their Google Business Profile connection. They may also contact us to request deletion of data associated with their GrowMyStars account, subject to legal, security and operational retention requirements.
5. AI Service Providers
GrowMyStars uses artificial-intelligence service providers to assist with features such as suggested review responses and content drafts.
Our current implementation includes OpenAI, and we may use other AI service providers from time to time as our technical architecture evolves.
We seek to send AI providers only information reasonably necessary to produce the requested product functionality.
AI providers act as technology service providers or subprocessors subject to applicable contractual terms. We do not permit them to use GrowMyStars customer information for their independent marketing or advertising purposes.
Because AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate, businesses should review generated content before relying on or publishing it.
6. SMS Messaging and Mobile Information
GrowMyStars may send SMS messages to business owners, prospective GrowMyStars customers and authorized GrowMyStars users who have affirmatively opted in.
Messages may include communications relating to a requested demo or early access, account or service notifications, review alerts, secure review-response approval links and related review-management activity.
Message frequency varies.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide mobile information to service providers, such as Twilio, only as necessary to operate and deliver the messaging service. Those providers are not authorized by GrowMyStars to use that information for their own marketing purposes.
7. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to service providers and subprocessors that help operate GrowMyStars.
For authentication and Google Business Profile functionality authorized by the user.
AI service providers
Currently including OpenAI and potentially other providers used to generate requested AI-assisted content.
Twilio
To deliver SMS communications to users who have provided appropriate consent.
Stripe
To process payments and subscription transactions when paid billing is enabled.
Zapier and integration providers
When a business enables an integration or workflow that requires information to pass between GrowMyStars and another service.
Cloudflare and hosting providers
To host, secure, deliver and operate the website and related application infrastructure.
Hostinger
To host the WordPress-based GrowMyStars blog.
Email service providers
To send transactional, support or business communications.
We may also disclose information:
- when required by law, subpoena, court order or valid governmental request;
- to investigate fraud, security incidents or abuse;
- to protect the rights, safety or property of GrowMyStars, our users or others;
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or part of Hunka LLC, subject to applicable law; or
- when you direct or authorize us to do so.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide GrowMyStars, maintain the business relationship, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security and comply with legal requirements.
Retention periods differ by type of information.
For example:
- account information may be retained while an account remains active;
- Google authorization information may be retained while an integration remains connected;
- operational logs may be retained for a limited security and troubleshooting period;
- SMS consent and opt-out records may be retained as necessary to document messaging compliance;
- billing and transaction records may be retained for tax, accounting or legal requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with our retention practices.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration and disclosure.
These measures may include access controls, encrypted network connections, authentication controls, logging, infrastructure security and restricted production access.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law and your relationship with GrowMyStars, you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of certain personal information.
You may also:
- disconnect connected integrations;
- unsubscribe from non-required email communications;
- reply STOP to opt out of SMS;
- contact us about privacy questions; or
- request deletion of your GrowMyStars account and associated information, subject to information we must retain for legitimate legal, security or operational reasons.

11. Third-Party Services
GrowMyStars integrates with third-party platforms.
Your use of Google, Zapier, Housecall Pro, Stripe, Twilio or another third-party service may also be governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policies.
GrowMyStars is not responsible for independent processing performed by third parties outside the services they provide to us.
12. Children's Privacy
GrowMyStars is a business service and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly seek personal information directly from children under 13 through the GrowMyStars account service.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as GrowMyStars evolves or legal and operational requirements change.
When we make changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of the policy.
If a material change affects how we use Google user data or other information for a materially different purpose, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
